The 986 XO is a cross-country racing bike. The high-modulus carbon frame is light and stiff. The front triangle is a half-piece for added strength and lightness. A reinforcing gusset is integrated under the headtube. The integrated seatpost is isolated from the frame by three elastomers. The geometry was conceived considering the latest generation of suspension forks with 80 to 100 mm of travel. The 71.2 degree head tube angle is the perfect compromise between handling and stability.
